The Brazoswood High School Lady Bucs Soccer Team believes success is measured not only by wins on the field, but by service to others. Throughout the year, players volunteer with local nonprofits, schools, youth organizations, nursing homes and community events, while also supporting hurricane cleanup efforts, animal shelters and district-wide service projects.

The team’s signature initiative is Youth Night, an annual event that honors a local child facing serious medical challenges. Through donations, T-shirt sales and community support, the Lady Bucs have raised more than $35,000 over the past nine years to provide financial assistance and hope to local families. By making service a cornerstone of their program, the Lady Bucs are developing compassionate leaders whose impact extends far beyond the soccer field.

Demonstrating that service is a year-round commitment, the Lady Bucs continue volunteering throughout the summer, with many of their outreach efforts featured on the team’s Facebook page.
